Architects plan and design structures such as houses, office buildings, factories, apartments, and more. They generally meet with clients, give estimates on the cost and time for specific plans, prepare scaled drawings of their design, visit worksites to ensure that construction is running smoothly, and market by giving presentations. They have an important role in society as they design the palaces that we work, learn, shop, eat, and live in. Architects not only need to plan the building's appearance but also their structural system, including the air-conditioning, heating, electrical systems, plumbing, etc.

Education:
- Minimum Degree: Bachelors
- Courses like architectural history and theory, building design, CADD (computer -aided design and drafting), construction methods, math, physical sciences, and liberal arts are all taught to Bachelor students.
*Many individuals who pursue architecture also earn a Masters degree which can take an additional 1 to 5 extra years.
- Training:
- New graduates are required to complete their training period by working at architectural firms in an Architectural Experience Program (AXP). These interns help design, build models, and research build codes for projects.

Working Environment:
- Architects spend the majority of the time in their office meeting clients, developing reports, and working with other architects and engineers. In addition, they are requires to visit the construction site to make sure that their clients desires are met and that construction is running smoothly. Architects work full time and tend to work overtime when a deadline is coming.
- Some architects become architectural and engineering managers who coordinate employees and work on larger construction projects.
